Chicken Salad Recipe – Chicken Sandwiches
A great chicken salad recipe is the perfect picnic food or party food! There are many variations on this classic favorite and our chicken salad recipe is so delicious. While it’s great served on a roll or bread, you may decide to just grab a fork and dig in! It’s full of flavor and texture.
Ingredients:
- 3 pounds chicken breast
- A1 Steak Sauce seasoning packet
- ranch dressing
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pound grapes, halved
- 2-3 large celery stalks, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 8 oz chopped walnuts
- 1 ½ cups mayonnaise
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees
Season both sides of the chicken with the A1 seasoning.
Place seasoned chicken into baking dish and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Pour ranch dressing over the seasoned chicken, coating generously.
Bake in preheated oven for approximately 20-25 minutes.
Remove chicken from oven, cover with foil and place in refrigerator to cool.
Once chicken is completely cool, remove from pan and dice into ½” pieces. Transfer to large bowl and use a fork to break the chicken up slightly.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir until well combined. You can use less or more mayonnaise depending on the desired consistency.
Serve with lettuce and tomato on fresh bread or rolls! It’s one of those recipes that truly says “Summer”!
