Pineapple Basil Infusion Water

Need to drink more water, but not a fan of the bland taste? Then hydrate yourself with this delicious pineapple basil infusion water. It’s easy, quenching, healthy and most of all–delicious!

Pineapple Basil Infused Water

8 oz. jar
½ cup of fresh pineapple, cut into chunks
¼ cup of fresh basil leaves

Directions

Add the fresh pineapple chunks and the fresh basil to the bottom of the 8 oz. jar and mash them up a bit using a spoon. This will release the flavor of the pineapple and the basil into your water.

Once everything is mashed simply fill the jar with water. Refrigerate overnight for maximum flavor.

*1 ½ pint jar = 1 serving

**If you’re opting to use a larger pint size jar simply double the fruit ingredients.

    I am going to have to try this combo. I have lots of basil growing in my garden – I use it to cook with. I also have one of those infusing water pitcher and usually just do lemons in it – this will be a nice change.
