As a newly dubbed full-time entrepreneur and mom, I feel like I have a lot on my plate during this time of year. Although school’s almost out, my days are starting to intertwine between traveling and project deadlines. George decided to take me out on a surprise lunch date to decompress a bit and recharge my hangry (that means hungry + angry in millennial talk, ya’ll haha) mind.
There was an Applebees Neighborhood Grill + Bar right around the corner from our house and they asked us to give their Bigger, Bolder Grill Combos a try. Perfect timing considering my appetite, this Bigger, Bolder Grill Combo is definitely a good thing!
Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar always takes me back to the days during high school homecomings and even prom — Applebee’s was our go-to for socializing and hanging out before the days of smartphones and text messaging. Applebee’s has been around for generations and I was thrilled to take the time with my husband to spend it with him here.
I haven’t been to Applebee’s in a while and recently they introduced their Bigger, Bolder Grill Combos with a surplus of portions with TWO grilled entrees and an abundance of sides. Starting at $12.99, the “Bigger, Bolder Grill Combos” has something for everyone’s taste buds!
Hubby had the 6 oz. USDA Select Sirloin Steak and Half Rack Baby Back Ribs. And I was feeling lighter options and decided to order the Grilled Shrimp Skewers and Grilled Salmon with Honey BBQ Sauce. They also offer Grilled Chicken Breast too! All Grill Combos are served with steamed broccoli, garlic mashed potatoes, signature coleslaw and onion tanglers.
We had a great time, I was able to spend quality time with George, and the meal satisifed my hunger.
It was exactly what I needed to get my head back in the game! Head to your local Applebee’s to relax and unwind with good company for a great value and one satisfying meal.
