The time has come to finally share my before and after photos from the Jenny Craig program. It’s been a lifestyle change for me. I honestly feel that I am now able to stick to this on my own, and keep the weight off!
I’ve learned so much from my consultant, and have gained valuable eating habits along the way. I realize now that I was either misinformed or over-informed with how to live a healthy lifestyle. When I say over-informed, it’s because I was given too much information that I couldn’t process. And whenever I have too much information, I do absolutely nothing with it. It was either all or nothing for me with data. And that’s what was happening to me before I joined the Jenny Craig program.
“Try this, do that, maybe it’s this, maybe it’s that…” These were the types of statements given by experts and non-experts to me on how to lose weight. But Jenny Craig gets me and many others who are confused, frustrated and yet longing to lose weight the right way. They created this long-standing and proven program that works, and I’m one of their biggest fans.
I’ve overcome all of the excuses I had before, and successfully charged through the challenges that were hindering me from being my best self now.

I’ve learned about healthy eating habits, portion control, and that I can’t do this alone. I have more energy, I’m more alert, and I feel good. I have this overall sense of well-being that I am healthier and I feel happier too. Not to mention how much my confidence has sky-rocketed.
I used to be so self-conscious with my appearance and weight to the point of allowing it to hinder me from being on television. I would turn down appearances and news segments because I didn’t want people to see me at my worst. I didn’t feel like myself, and it prevented me from living to my full potential.
A couple of months before I started on the Jenny Craig program, I was in a Kohl’s commercial showcasing their new Spring line and also filmed in Newport Beach, California for my mommy makeover show. After I saw myself in that commercial and watching myself interviewing other moms on my mommy makeover show, I was surprised to see myself. I didn’t recognize myself, I had gained so much weight. I remember crying to my husband and telling him that I didn’t want anyone to see me in those commercials anymore, and that I wasn’t going to do anymore media events.
He encouraged me to try a weight-loss program, and then lo and behold, Jenny Craig reached out! It was like they were reading my mind! I immediately jumped on the opportunity to do the Jenny Craig program, because I didn’t know what else to do. I was completely at a loss of options – I feel like I’ve truly tried everything and nothing worked.
And now, I’m back and better than ever!!! I’m back to my old, slimmer self again and I feel really good. Others have mentioned that I look younger because I’ve slimmed down and I believe it after seeing my before and after pictures. Oh, I’ve lost the weight alright – I’ve lost ten pounds (10-lbs) and it’s staying off!*
