The Brother P-Touch Labeler has been like a personal assistant in our home. I must admit, I kind of underestimated what it could really contribute in our daily tasks, but it’s now something we can’t imagine not having. I used it originally for smaller things, like labeling boxes and using it for the kids toys and cups to avoid them fighting over things – it worked, but now were using it for almost everything around the house. It has helped us stay organized, it has given me more time to focus on other house chores, and we are not so frustrated because when everything is in its place and you can find it, everything just works so smoothly.
Before we got the Brother P-Touch, we were always stressed, and there were times we put aside so many projects because the tasks of getting paperwork and materials prepared was so draining because we either could not find them in the pile of paperwork, or it was just nowhere to be found, period!
The Brother P-Touch Labeler has really allowed to be more efficient in our home-office. With so much paper work to manage, it was so frustrating separating them by category, then trying to remember what pile was what. We’ve always had binders, and it helps a little as far as keeping the area clean, but it was never really organized, more like swept under the rug, or in this case, “swept into the binder”. Now we’ve put labels on the sides, and now we can find what we need immediately without digging through piles or flipping through the binders. It as easy as looking through the line of binders and knowing what is in each one. What also makes it easy, is that the Brother P-Touch has features that allows you to change font, sizes, add symbols and other capabilities that make it easier to pin point what I am looking for. Sometimes I don’t even read the label, but by seeing the symbol of a computer, I know it’s my husband’s school paperwork.
Recently I’ve joined a fitness program that requires me to have a well-managed diet. Even with this, the Brother P-Touch has helped me tremendously. Like with everything else, the hard part is getting organized, which is one of the main things that cause people to be drained and just give up on a task or challenge. I have been able to stay on track with my diet, because now, it is just grab and go with my meals. I am able to prepare it ahead of time and with the label, I know what I need to bring to work and what I can leave at home, so there’s no stress!
This gadget has really motivated me to take on more tasks. It’s such a great feeling to have things in order and seeing where everything is around the house. It keeps you moving and less time is wasted in cleaning and searching. Having a product like this does a lot more for people, it helps stay disciplined and more work gets done, with less stress and energy. It has definitely made life more efficient. I think the garage is next!

Is there a deal on this somewhere?
I had been wanting one for a long time now. I just haven’t been able to afford one. I know it’s not that much, but the $ goes for needs more than wants. This would be the ultimate in labeling. I label just about everything….I currently use post it notes with packing tape for labels that need to stay put for an extended amount of time.
