Canon isn’t just for more serious photography, ya know. Professionals, like my hubby, enjoy using the full-frame DSLRs or digital cameras for our photography that you often see with most of our photos. But if you’re looking to step up your photo game and LOVE great digital imaging technology, then listen up, because the Canon IVY CLIQ & CLIQ+ instant print cameras have arrived! These are definitely an instant print camera game changer!

My daughter has the Instax instant print camera, and instant print camersas have been around from way back in the day thanks to Polaroid. But now Canon is stepping into the space with the IVY cameras designed to enhance your digital photography experience.

There are a lot of great digital photography qualities that you will get to experience with the Canon IVY CLIQ & CLIQ+. What exactly makes the Canon IVY CLIQ & CLIQ+ stand out, you ask?

The Canon IVY Cliq is a small and fun instant camera and mini photo printer that takes instant 8.0MP photos. It comes with ZINK photo paper (which stands for Zero Ink printing technology), and instead of ink, it uses colorful dye-based crystals embedded inside the paper. The ZINK-enabled device uses heat to activate and colorize these crystals. Pretty cool, right?! And there’s an optional MicroSD card slot (this one is sold separately) that can allow you to save your photos to a microSD card for later use.

The Canon IVY CLIQ+ has a 2″ circular selfie mirror with eight-LED ring light for great-looking selfies. You can fit it in your pocket easily, and take it anywhere your next adventure takes you.

With the Canon Mini Print app, you can seamlessly connect your smartphone to the app via bluetooth, and take a photo with your smartphone’s camera, or choose one of your own photos.

You can even use fun AR filters and add effects, frames, text, and stickers to your 2″ x 3″ photos with a peel-and-stick back. We definitely had some fun with it, and my 18-year old daughter has begun making fun collages of all her instant print photos on her wall!
