Recently, my husband and I had the pleasure of witnessing and beautiful concert with the amazing André Rieu, a Dutch violinist and conductor well known for his talents throughout the world. It took place here in Las Vegas at the Orleans Arena, where thousands gathered for a night of beautiful music and entertainment with a mix of humor. It was definitely a night to remember! The venue was a full house with many fans who have been following André Rieu for years. I loved this event because on the connection it created with the performers and the audience. You can really sense the passion of André Rieu and the rest of the performers had to deliver something great for the attendees. There we even moments where the crowd to interact and have fun with André, when he included us into the start of the pieces. And I specially loved the moment that they performed America’s National Anthem.
André Rieu has performed for millions worldwide and has reached over 1 Billion views on YouTube. He has a passion for his work that you see when he performs, which is why he is loved by so many. Check out the video below to see just a bit of this wonderful, musical genius.
This is why I am excited to announce the release of his new album – “Shall We Dance”, on October 6, 2017 as well as his new 10-part series on Ovation TV titled, “André Rieu: Welcome to my World”, which will premiere on Saturday, 12pm.
The album will be available on CD/DVD from Decca Gold.

I am now in love with, “Shall We Dance”. If I had to choose which tracks are my favorite, it would be very difficult, because the collection is brilliant. But I will say, the three that I have found myself listening to the most are Time To Say Goodbye, And The Waltz Goes On and Edelweiss from The Sound of Music. Time To Say Goodbye has always been a song that just tugs at my heart. It always makes me think about the special moments in life that have passed but will always be remembered. It makes the end feel beautiful. The Waltz Goes On is amazing is many ways. One, for the fact that it was composed by a very talented actor, Anthony Hopkins. That with the way André Rieu delivers it just makes it even more breathtaking. I makes me feel all types of emotions. It reminds me of the ups and downs of life and the stages we go through, while, as the title suggests, The Waltz Goes On. Edelweiss from The Sound of Music is a classic! The Sound of Music is a movie that will forever be a part of my childhood and hearing it played by André Rieu brought me back to my younger days.
Once you listen to this album, you will definitely want to experience seeing André Rieu live, and you can! Just go to www.AndreRieu.com for more information and to purchase concert tickets. This concert was so entertaining in many ways. The assembly of talents on the stage was so perfect with the way it created harmony. Every time a new piece started, it would pull you in right away. There were humorous pieces that had the whole arena laughing, then a peaceful and beautiful song would come on that would just transition the mood into a different emotion. Both equally satisfying to hear. His live performance will give touch your heart and soul. You may cry, laugh or cry from laughing. Either way, it really is an experience you will remember for many years to come. For my husband and I, it has certainly become a memory we will add to the books.
