Plastic Surgery Helps A Child

Have you heard the story about Victoria? I bet you have seen it on Facebook. Dr Stile Esthetique Plastique
Victoria is a 3 year old girl from Jackson, Mississippi. This past month she may or may not have been asked to leave a KFC restaurant by an employee. The reason is the kicker here… she wasn’t acting up, throwing a fit or disrupting the customers. She has scars. Scars that make her sad, that aren’t her fault, they keep her from looking in the mirror. You see Victoria was mauled by a pack of dogs at her Grandfather’s house. A KFC employee may or may not have asked her to leave because she was frightening the other customers. That breaks my heart. It also broke the heart of Dr. Frank L. Stile.

Dr. Frank L. Stile, a Board Certified Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon and the founder of The Frank L. Stile Foundation, which helps children in crisis like Victoria, wanted to help.  Since he was trained at the University of Mississippi, Victoria’s story really hit close to home for him too. While there isn’t a whole lot I can do from Colorado, Dr. Stiles decided there WAS something he could do! He offered to help Victoria erase those scary scars!

I bet you are thinking…what is Dr. Stile going to do to help Victoria? He has set up sponsors to help cover the cost of her reconstructive surgery. That’s not all though. Dr. Stile has offered to personally do all of Victoria’s reconstructive surgeries!! Even amidst reports that the KFC may be a hoax, Dr. Frank L. Stile has continued his support for Victoria and plans on performing all of her surgeries!

Dr. Stile went to visit Victoria this past weekend to meet her and her family. They are working on preparations for Victoria’s upcoming journey to healing. I am ecstatic to tell you that when my four year old daughter questioned what I was writing about, I could respond with this astounding story of caring and compassion.

At TheItMom.com we love Dr Stile! He did a phenomenal job on Daisy’s mommy makeover. His work is phenomenal and he certainly goes above and beyond. You can read more about Daisy’s journey here and her recovery here.
