Must-Have Kitchen Gadgets and 13 Creative Superfoods Recipes All Right Here!

Now that you’ve heard the good news that we’re partnering with Kohl’s for their Make Your Move campaign, we are uber excited to impart all the bits of wisdom we’ve learned to stay on the right healthy track. Kohl’s wants us to move more, stress less, and eat and sleep better. It’s amazing how such a simple concept can make a significant impact in our lives, and they’re on a mission to remind us to get moving! And however you begin, there’s no better time to make your move with Kohl’s than now. As I take you through my journey of how I make my move, I encourage you to join us! After consulting with several nutritionists and dieticians during my recent health scare, they reminded me of the importance of eating healthy and staying fit. To put things into perspective, we discussed the 80/20 rule. When it comes to fitness and good health, 80% of results are based on the foods you eat and 20% of results are from your exercise. There’s a balance between the two that should never be compromised, and doing so would mean no results or very little results. And in order to prevent burn-out with superfoods, you need to get started on the right path by making sure you are prepared, organized, and strategic. Be purposeful! Kohls Make Your Move Recipe and Kitchen Gadget Collage

Here are a few tips we received from our expert nutritionists about breaking the bad food habit and replacing them with superfoods:

1. Your first step is to throw away all the bad foods in your fridge and pantry. The less visible bad foods are, the less likely you will consume them. It’s the good ‘ole take-away! Prevent temptations in your life by keeping your fridge and pantry stocked with the right food and life will be less stressful for you.

2. Plan and prep your meals ahead. Go to the grocery store and be intentional when it comes to buying superfoods. Don’t know what to get? We’ve made life a little easier for you today by giving you a list of 52-superfoods you can start incorporating into your grocery shopping thanks to Womans Day Magazine. The best days to shop and plan are Sundays! Carve out a couple of hours to get this all done and you’ll have the whole week ready to go. It’ll save you time and make you healthy! You don’t have to buy all 52-superfoods — I suggest starting with 10-12 items and then changing them up each week. Your body will thank you for changing things up too! 3. Save even more time by having the right appliances and gadgets set-up in your kitchen. In order for you to make your move, you’re going to need to be organized and prepared.
