Mistresses Season 2 Premiere and Going Behind The Scenes #ABCTVEvent

We were invited to an all expense paid trip to attend a private interview and studio tour at the ABC TV Studios in exchange for sharing our experiences. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

During our trip to Hollywood, we had the opportunity to interview Jason George (“Dominic Taylor”), Jes Macallan (“Josslyn Carver”) and Justin Hartley (who joins the cast this year as “Scott”) to talk all about the SECOND season of Mistresses! That’s right, baby, they’re back!

Justin Hartley has been on shows like Smallville, Green Arrow, and Revenge. We are so excited to see him on Mistresses this year!

ABC has always been my favorite source of heated drama, and Mistresses has been a HUGE favorite of mine from the beginning. It always excites me to see actresses like Alyssa Milano (I’ve been a long-time fan of hers) star in shows like these! It was a lot of fun meeting Jason George and Jes Macallan, touring the set (including April’s quaint store), and chatting with Mistresses’ costume designer Roemehl Hawkins on fashion and what’s trending this season! It was really surreal to watch a few of the actors filming scenes from one of the upcoming episodes for Season 2. This sizzling summer drama is back on ABC TV tonight, and you don’t want to miss the second season of Mistresses!

I wasn’t sure what to expect of the Mistresses name (other than infidelity), but it’s more so than this. It’s about friendships evolving, and their love life experiences between four female friends — Savi (Alyssa Milano), Joss (Jes Macallan), April (Rochelle Aytes) and Karen (Yunjin Kim).

What can we expect on Mistresses’ second season:
“Rebuild” – Eight months later, Savi, having cheated death, makes the most of her second chance. Karen struggles to rebound from loss, both personal and professional. April’s life gets interesting when old friend, Mickey (guest star Joseph May), returns and pushes her to make some changes and Joss tries her hand at a new job, party planner to wealthy Angelenos, in the second season premiere of “Mistresses,” MONDAY, JUNE 2 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Soleil Moon Frye guest stars as herself.

“Rebuild” guest stars Corinne Massiah as Lucy Malloy, Ricky Whittle as Daniel Zamora, Rebeka Montoya as Antonia Ruiz, William Ragsdale as Dr. Blakeley, Catherine Haena Kim as Anna Choi, Joseph May as Mickey, Kathryn Gordon as Vanessa Cross, Ashley Newbrough as Kyra and Soleil Moon Frye guest stars as herself.

As an avid fashion lover, I was excited to meet Roemehl Hawkins (she’s also designed costumes for shows like Desperate Housewives)! We got to see the outfits the girls wore in season two, and it was really cool to see it on television and say, “Hey I saw THOSE outfits in person at the ABC Studios!!!” Roehmehl Hawkins is truly an expert in her craft, and I love that she follows many of the BIG fashion bloggers for fashion inspiration too! Bloggers do have influence in this world, even with experts like Roehmehl! My fave was Joss’ outfit, because it’s THE color of the season — Radiant Orchid! It’s soft yet bold in and purple is a color I’ve always liked on any skin tone.

Jess Macallan was so amazed to see all of us, and was funny and full of energy. She told us she’s checked out ALL 25 of our blogs and said we were the “real deal”. It feels great to know that those who are so influential in the entertainment industry see us that way. It feels good to be appreciated!

Later we met actor Jason George from Grey’s Anatomy and got to take a group picture with him! He also gave us a tour of the law firm that he works at on Mistresses and shared a fun fact — he has REAL family photos of him and his family on his office desk! He’s a family man with a lot of heart and I love how he smiles from ear to ear! He was very personable with each of us, and made us feel so valued. I can’t wait for you to see what happens with Dom in this season premiere of Mistresses! I wish I could say!!!
