Many of you know that I am a HUGE fan of Angelina Jolie! I've loved her since she started her acting career and can tell you all about her like she was my best friend! Did you know our birthdays are close together? My birthday's on June 3rd and Angelina Jolie's birthday is on June 4th! I know that she loves bargain shopping (much like I do), and has a passion to serve others and puts family first. It came as no surprise when I freaked about the Maleficent World Premiere yesterday in Hollywood! She attended with her soon-to-be hubby Brad Pitt!
I am so excited to watch Maleficent! Telling another side of the story, a story about a woman with power, a story so mysterious yet so touching all at the same time.
About Disney's Maleficent:
“Maleficent” explores the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the classic “Sleeping Beauty” and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone. Driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, Maleficent cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king’s newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Aurora is caught in the middle of the seething conflict between the forest kingdom she has grown to love and the human kingdom that holds her legacy. Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever.
The film stars Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, Sharlto Copley, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.
“Maleficent” is produced by Joe Roth and directed by Robert Stromberg, with Angelina Jolie, Michael Vieira, Don Hahn, Palak Patel, Matt Smith and Sarah Bradshaw serving as executive producers. Linda Woolverton wrote the screenplay. Check out the Maleficent trailer below:

June 12, 2014 at 10:36 AMI so enjoyed that movie – saw it with hubs when it first came out and again treated my adult two daughters and my 14 year old niece last night to dinner and then a movie – this one – after. None of those three had seen it so it was fun to “turn them on” to such a great film. Jolie is so awesome – but in this captivating film one cannot take one’s eyes off her . She was executive producer on this and her dedicatin to it SHOWS. Everyone did such a great acting job on it – loved it.
And your strawberries are just too cute!
