On “Hotel Hell,” businesses that are falling apart come to Gordon as a last resort. They know that their business if failing and he is the only one who can help them. He will see if he can turn their hotel around before they have to close the doors for good.

In the premiere episode, Gordon will head to New Mexico to help out the Meson De Mesilla. The first thing they want him to do is sign a waiver saying he won't damage the walls and of course that won't go over well. Hopefully things get better after their rocky start.

In this episode, owner Cali Szczawinski knows that she needs help and thinks she has the right guy for the job. Gordon will soon realize that a lot of the problems are due to Cali and the fact that she isn't running the hotel the way that she needs to.

For instance, instead of running the hotel, Cali is always singing instead. The clip shows her singing “If I Could Turn Back Time” by Cher. Of course she is a great singer, but this is not her job. She will need to quit focusing on her singing if she wants to save Meson De Mesilla. Gordon Ramsay may be the only one who can turn this around.

Gordon shares that he always stays at the hotel he is working on. One time this season he will actually sleep in the bathtub because the bed is so gross he won't sleep in it. He is always looking for perfection and problems. Ramsay helps transform rooms in the hotel, but also helps them with their restaurant, pool and outside area. He wants every bit of the hotel to be somewhere that people want to come back to again.
