Easy and Flawless with Estee Lauder Double Wear Powder

I’ve been using a heavy coverage brand name foundation for many years, but it has really been havoc on my skin. I’ve been wanting to try a new powder foundation for the longest time, but it’s been really difficult finding the right coverage and color for my skin tone. I either look too pale or too orange and the coverage rubs off within an hour or less. I honestly thought it was my skin being picky, and I was looking for another option. I was excited when Conde Nast invited me to try Estee Lauder’s Double Wear foundation and although I received complimentary product from Estée Lauder through Condé Nast, all opinions are my own.

I headed into my nearby Macy’s Estee Lauder makeup counter and met with an amazing beauty advisor that helped me select a perfect match Double Wear foundation. We both decided to go with the Estee Lauder Double Wear Powder Foundation that offered long-wear medium coverage. And as soon as she tested foundations, I could immediately feel the difference in the formula (it felt silky soft and smooth on my skin).

After she was done, I saw an immediate difference in the way my skin looked. And the foundation color match was on-point! We ended up going with the shade RATTAN. I finally felt confident that people weren’t looking at my mismatched foundation!

I left my foundation on starting at 2pm and by 11pm my foundation still looked fabulous, smooth and offered the coverage I needed without me touching up once! Although, the Estee Lauder Double Wear Powder does have two sides of the sponge (one for touching up or as a setting powder for your liquid foundation and the other side for medium coverage). I often have to meet with clients during the day and afterwards I meet my family or friends at a restaurant or special event. That night I happened to be meeting family for dinner and they ALL noticed how flawless and smooth my skin looked! YAY!
