Our recent stay at the Estancia La Jolla Resort and Spa in San Diego was so peaceful and relaxing! I’m sure that sounds like any other hotel, but when you factor in four (4) children ranging in age from 13 through 3, you understand where I’m coming from. They gave us complimentary Margaritas at their Mustangs and Morros bar, Voss water ready for us in our rooms, wireless internet throughout the property, and a friendly staff to direct us to recommended things to do. Highly recommend if you’re visiting San Diego!
We had the best night’s sleep EVER! I absolutely love how cozy and comfy our rooms were and we had a spacious wrought iron balcony with a beautiful garden view! They thought everything through to make sure our stay was perfect. And the location was central to everything we need – grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations were all just a two-minute drive. Estancia La Jolla Resort and Spa’s concierge were great at recommending and providing directions to the best places to go. After retreating in our rooms, we spent the afternoon enjoying the La Jolla Shores Beach (just a 5-minute drive away from the hotel) on the most perfect 80 degree day.

I am so glad you not only wrote about the travel site but also the hotel you stayed at. We drive to San Diego every 6 months to visit my brother and his fiance and my nephews (their two Pugs Norman and Phil) and to just get away. We have always stayed at hotels in Hotel Circle, and have wanted to visit and stay in La Jolla, but did not know where to stay. My brother is getting married in San Diego In September, and we will be there for a week. Last night my husnband and I were trying to decide where to go and stay after the wedding festivities are over… I am going to suggest La Jolla and this hotel 🙂
