We are about to come to that one special day each year where pranks are played in good fun with everyone, even the kids!  In honor of April 1st, we are going to share some great April Fools Ideas For Kids.  These are perfect for your kids to prank each other, or for you to prank them with.  A little bit of clean fun can be a lot of fun for the whole family!  While April Fools Day is all about pranks, remember to always be aware of those kids who may upset easily, be afraid of certain things or how your prank could hurt those around you.  Think things through and share some fun with your family!

April Fools Pranks Ideas For Kids

Water spray surprise:  If your kitchen has a spray nozzle that pulls out for rinsing items in the sink, this is a fun and easy one to do.  Simply use a rubber band, hair tie or even a piece of plastic wrap around the handle.  You want to make sure the handle is pressed so when they turn on the water to wash their hands or rinse a plate, they instead get a face full of water from the nozzle.

Moldy bread on sandwiches:  A bit of black and green food coloring dotted around a piece of bread can make a perfect sandwich that looks all yucky and moldy.  This is a fun prank to keep people form eating your food, but also a great way to make your kids think that you have served them bad food or you could eat it yourself and gross them out!

Spiders in their food:  Plastic spiders, cockroaches, beetles and bugs are easy to find at almost any discount or dollar store.  As long as your kids aren’t super afraid where it would really make them upset, it’s a great fun prank to add a spider to their food, on their toothbrush, in the shower or other fun ways to surprise them.

Color the milk:  Younger kids will get a kick out of seeing purple, orange, blue or green milk in the refrigerator to go on their cereal on April Fools Day morning.  It’s a simple and fun prank that only makes them giggle and laugh at mom.

Having fun on April Fools Day is made much easier with these simple April fools ideas for kids.  Whether you go all out and prank them throughout the day, or just one big surprise in the morning these are perfect.  Have fun and make sure everyone understands it is just a fun game and not serious.  Encourage your kids to brainstorm April Fools Day pranks with you to play on siblings or mom and dad, they’ll love being co-conspirators and getting one over on the family!
