This post was sponsored by Anaheim Marriott in exchange for our hotel stay and our Disneyland park experience. All opinions are 100% my own.
If you’ve been following along our family’s adventures, you know how much we value our annual family trips. We started doing this just three years ago, and I wish we had done them from the very beginning. Last year our family traveled to Honolulu, Hawaii for our annual family vacation. And this year, thanks to our partnership with Marriott Hotels, we got to experience an amazing Disneyland vacation with our family.
You can also read about the 3 time saving hacks we used to take on Disneyland and Disney California Adventure efficiently (and during one of the busiest days for Disneyland — the weekend before Halloween!).
We stayed at the Anaheim Marriott, a Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel and within walking distance of both parks. Anaheim Marriott just finished a multi-million dollar renovation inspired to enhance the experience of the modern traveler. In addition to room renovations, enhancements include a redesigned lobby, nFuse Bar and Kitchen, and SLICE Pizza!
I actually stayed at Anaheim Marriott a few years ago for a conference (before the renovations) and everything npw looks so well-appointed and fresh with their new updates now. It’s definitely one of the best and nicest hotels in Anaheim when it comes to their amenities and features. I’m sharing our photos of Anaheim Marriott and my personal review along with notes from my husband and feedback from my children of ages varying 9 to 17.
The lobby aesthetic was reminiscent of a bronze goddess – beautiful, tall and modern. And if you ever have a chance for alone time or a quick date night downstairs, I highly recommend spending it at nFuse! I networked and mingled at nFuse when I stayed here a few years ago. It was a lot of fun mingling in an open environment at nFuse.
Anaheim Marriott has 1,030 guestrooms, several amenities inspired for a family of travelers and state-of-the-art technology! One of the “things” that made me feel like Anaheim Marriott was state-of-the-art was their super cool elevator system! It was very futuristic — enter your number on the touchscreen or use the keypad and it will tell you which elevator to access to get to your room floor. You know how much I love efficiency!
On our first day at Anaheim Marriott, we ordered YUMMY pick your own toppings pizza at SLICE and brought them to the pool for the kids. Then we (adults) had dinner and drinks with poolside dining (I ordered a steak salad and hubby had a margarita).
The guest rooms were phenomenal and we got conjoined rooms for extra privacy. We were greeted by a beautiful charcuterie spread, wine, an chocolates in our room. Such a thoughtful gesture – thank you, Anaheim Marriott!
Our rooms had spectacular city and pool views that we were able to see while sitting out in our balconies. Both rooms had 2 full sized beds and they were recently renovated and looked brand new and fresh! They renovated and redesigned the carpet, furniture, and decor.
The balcony was so spacious and the weather was so perfect that one of our mornings consisted of breakfast together on the balcony.
My husband and I are frequent travelers and totally judge-y with hotels. Anaheim Marriott passed our test in the following with flying colors:
Bathroom: Spacious and brightly lit; showers stream strong and updated fixtures. CHECK!
Bedroom: Comfortable bed and fluffy pillows; has a refrigerator and safe; has an area for me to do my makeup. CHECK! *It doesn’t have a tub but we never use tubs anyway.
Overall Room: Comfortable temperature, lots of plugs, and lots of USB plugs. CHECK!
TV: A large television with Netflix?! CHECK!
They have kick butt amenities at Anaheim Marriott. For example, whenever we forget toiletries like toothpaste, sunscreen, over the counter medications, or feminine care products; all we had to do was head to The Market downstairs. They had everything we needed plus souvenirs! There’s even a Starbucks around the corner from The Market!!!
Although Anaheim Marriott has been a great choice for business travelers (remember, I stayed here for a conference), the hotel offers everything a family needs when they travel. We experienced highly-appointed accommodations and superior service during our family vacation. And Anaheim Marriott offers easy access to top attractions including the Disneyland® Resort and Disney California Adventure – you can either walk or shuttle there!
Location wise, you can get to and from Disneyland in about 15 minutes walking or you can get an ART Pass to ride back and forth all day using the Art bus.
We ended up taking the ART bus for the six of us, because we knew we were going to spend over 12 hours park hopping between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. And let me tell you, it was SO worth the $5 per person per pass. By the time we ended the night at Disneyland, the kids were so exhausted and our feet were hurting and numb that the ART bus was like heaven to our feet. The kids even fell asleep on the bus, so yea…worth it!
And you can buy ART passes at the hotel registration area at Anaheim Marriott – very convenient!
One last thing I wanted to make sure you knew about was Marriott’s “Concierge Level”. We received “Concierge Level” benefits during our stay and what a fantastic perk, I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy the hotel’s amenities. The Concierge Lounge was on the very top floor (18th floor) and offers a complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning; and on weekdays the lounge also features happy hour with appetizers and an honor bar for guests in the late afternoons. AND you get free internet! This was my first time experiencing this and I honestly didn’t know this option was available. But now I know and not sure how I’ve gone without it before, it’s wonderful!

Hopefully this review was thorough and helpful for your upcoming Disneyland vacations. I’m a loyal Marriott Rewards member and I’ve loved all of the properties we’ve stayed at before. The Anaheim Marriott is definitely high on that Marriott list for me!
I’d love to know if you’ve stayed at the Anaheim Marriott and what your thoughts are from your stay. Also, are you a loyal rewards member to Marriott too? Please share your thoughts or questions in the comments section below!
