AMERICAN HERITAGE Chocolate S’mores Brownie Sundaes Recipe

Hi guys! As you know, I’m a chocolate dessert lover and the foodie in me also loves learning about the history of foods and ingredients. Chocolate is by far one of my most favorite ingredients where there is centuries of fascinating history. When I partnered up with Mars Chocolate, my goal was to learn some fun facts about their chocolate history! This is a sponsored post on behalf of AMERICAN HERITAGE™ Chocolate and the recipe and all my opinions are my own.

Mars Chocolate North America is dedicated to sharing chocolate’s fascinating journey through time – how chocolate was made, how it was used, where it came from, and what it tasted like throughout history. Mars has more than 100 years of chocolate-making excellence. As a leader in cocoa and chocolate history, cocoa sustainability and cocoa science, Mars Chocolate North America brings the history of chocolate to life through lectures, tastings and interactive demonstrations.

Chocolate has been woven through the fabric of American culture for centuries. Chocolate’s rich history is intertwined in the stories of their founding fathers, and ultimately, the history of Americas. AMERICAN HERITAGE™ Chocolate was created by Mars Chocolate North America to help educate consumers about the history of our nation through the engaging story of one of our most beloved foods – Chocolate!

AMERICAN HERITAGE™ Chocolate is an authentic historic line of products – developed from chocolate recipes from the 1750’s – that celebrates chocolate’s important role in the lives of Americans during the 18th century. Made with all-natural ingredients and no preservatives, AMERICAN HERITAGE™ Chocolate is an artisanal dark chocolate containing 63% cacao. Mildly spicy, and slightly sweet, AMERICAN HERITAGE™ Chocolate is flavored with a blend of spices and ingredients available during colonial times, including cinnamon, nutmeg, chili pepper, orange, anise and vanilla. YUM!

You can eat, drink, and bake with AMERICAN HERITAGE™ Chocolate products and they come in cool commemorative packaging featuring a “window of time” emblem reflecting certain eras in chocolate history. You can use AMERICAN HERITAGE™ Chocolate in recipes replacing semi-sweet chocolate at a one-to-one ratio. For more historic and modern-day recipes (like mine below) using AMERICAN HERITAGE™ Chocolate, visit their website at www.AmericanHeritageChocolate.com.

Their products include Chocolate Sticks (individually wrapped single serving chocolate sticks great for stirring into your fave hot beverage), Chocolate Bites (individually wrapped, bite-size chocolates that come in keepsake muslin bags that are ideal for eating and sharing), Chocolate Blocks (perfect for grating, chunking, shaving, or baking – I used them for shaving toppings for my recipe below), and Finely Grated Chocolate Drink (used for drinking or baking – which I also used in my recipe below).
