We drove the 2014 KIA Soul during our visit to Dallas, TX this past winter and we were unexpectedly welcomed by some rough weather. It was snowing during the whole trip and roads were covered in ice! We were worried about how the KIA Soul would handle the road conditions, but to our amazement, we drove smoothly with no issues. The traction and control kept us safe and secure.
It's a compact car with a comfy and roomy interior – how is that? I loved the style of the Soul's upholstery and trim. Sleek and stylish leather finish with a trendy design. Definitely a stylish and modern ride!
Not necessarily the most powerful car, but it is responsive, fun to drive and very reliable.
– 26/34 MPG
– 2.0-liter inline-4
– 164 horsepower @ 6,200 rpm
– 151 lb-ft of torque @ 4,000 rpm
Like I said before, safety was one of the features that stood out the most during our “icy” trip. This car really kept us safe. Here are some of the safety features below, just to name a few.
– Driver and passenger air bag
– Side, side head and rear air bags
– Traction control
– Electronic Stability Control
The look and feel of the 2014 KIA Soul may not suit everyone's taste – but performance, comfort and safety get a two thumbs up from my family and I.
