On Saturday, June 1st 2013, TheItDad and I had the privilege of being able to attend the annual Simon G. Soiree at TAO Las Vegas in the beautiful Venetian hotel. Simon G. Jewelry threw an awesome party with elegance and style –  an experience I'll never forget. We had the opportunity to get up close and personal with stars such as Paula Abdul, Jenny McCarthy, Mario & Courtney Lopez, Gilles & Carole Marini, Audrina Patridge, Catt Sadler, Holly Madison, Peta Murgatroyd and more.

Celebrities attended wearing their favorite jewelry from their Simon G. collection along with their gorgeous dresses such at Peta Murtgatroyd's dress by David's Bridal. They all looked fabulous! It was so amazing being able to meet them in person and being able to have a conversation with a few. And as you can see, they were also nice enough to take photos with us – still floating on cloud-9 from that event.

The celebration was hosted by comedian Dannon Green taking the stage to welcome guests appearances while acrobats performed for the crowd. Guests at the Simon G. Soiree enjoyed delicious hor devours and cocktails throughout the night such as The 58th Street Manhattan, which is made with Collingwood, a unique Canadian whiskey, and named after TAO’s original location in Manhattan on 58th Street. Another popular favorite of the night was The Angry Mule, which is a twist on the conventional cocktail made with the Kentucky favorite bourbon, Woodford Reserve, and the 100% Agave premium Herradura tequila, for a unique flavor combination.

Performance painter David Garibaldi also blessed the stage as he captivated the crowd by creating live paintings of the creator and founder of Simon G., Simon Ghanimian, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis Pressley (while their songs played).

The evening ended with a big bang and confetti showered the venue while the Village People came out on stage and performed their classic songs including the famous Y.M.C.A! Truly a night of fun, glamour and celebration thanks to Simon G. Jewelry and TAO Las Vegas.
