Busy Mom Style

Staying Busy, But Always Stylish with 3 Looks Under $100 at Style&Co

I’m a busy mom. That is who I am and I am proud to say it. Being a busy mom though, I simply don’t like fighting with myself over my wardrobe. I am so over the “this makes me look fat” and “this just doesn’t feel right” arguments that I used to have with myself almost daily when I was getting dressed. I am also over needing outfits that are separated based on what they are used for. I prefer having some great staple pieces in my closet that are more versatile and work better with my busy lifestyle. I’d much rather put on a cute jacket that I can wear to work and leave on for the PTA meeting over having designated outfits for each activity. The thing is, I don’t like a lot of hassle, but I want to look good. Don’t you feel the same?

Now add all of my wardrobe requirements to the fact that, just like everyone else, I am on a
budget. I don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on one outfit. I don’t care how versatile it is, it’s just not going to happen. That is one of the reasons I love the brand Style&co. The brand is available only at Macy’s! For real, you can find some seriously cute outfits and you aren’t going to break the bank. Check out these cute outfits that we have put together for you that will work great for all of your needs and none of these outfits will cost you more than $100!

Are you looking for an easy, yet fashionable look for work? This adorable Three-Button Knit Blazer could go great with slacks, jeans or a skirt, but I like the thought of pairing them with these Tummy-Control Slim-Leg Pants so that they can easily camouflage the mom-pooch (c’mon..we all have em!). Then you can bring the look together with this cute Utility Shirt (look at that collar!) and you have a winning outfit that works for business, but is comfortable and casual enough to continue wearing for those busy days! Plus, to extend your budget and your style portfolio, you could easily grab a couple of the utility shirts in different colors to have a unique look without having to spring for an entire outfit again!

If date night is what are wanting to dress for, we’ve got you covered. If you want to look cute without feeling like you are dressed to the nines, Style&co has this totally cute and super budget friendly Marled Mock-Neck Sweater that you can pair with these fashionable Front-Seam Skinny Pants. This outfit looks great in a fancy restaurant or in a hopping club.

Lastly, for those of us that are really looking for a more casual approach with our wardrobe, this outfit is perfect. This Pointelle-Knit Cardigan and Tummy-Control Stretch Leggings go wonderfully together and I especially love that you can wear it to lunch with friends, lounging around the house or to a meeting at work if need be! It’s casual, cute and comfortable. Plus, there is no denying it, leggings are everywhere these days. You may as well rock that look with confidence. The thing I most love about leggings (other than their comfort of course) is that you can pair them with your cute boots for the cooler weather or pair them with your slip-on flats for the warmer days. They look great both ways.

I love that first outfit pictured (last one described and linked) – the one with the cardigan. The boots are so cute, I love that you paired with leggings (so comfy, but still look good), and the cardigan looks great in blue, too (I clicked over to check prices and such, and discovered the blue – love!)!!

I like the casualness of each outfit. It looks like it wasn’t put together even if it is, which makes it easy to wear.

I adore short trousers. They are so hip and stylish. And they look fantastic with a nice pump.

I work from home so I don’t usually get the chance to wear fancy clothing unless I’m going to a funeral (sad, I know). I couldn’t help but notice the beautiful home in the background tho! Love it!
