New Recipes for “Cooking In” With ConAgra

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of ConAgra for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

One of the things I always enjoyed as a young adult, and I’m sure this is true for many others, is going out to eat. With so many things going on, it was just always the fun and more convenient option to having a delicious meal. However, that eventually got a bit too expensive and I had to start finding more creative ways to have great tasting food. This may be what a lot of you are experiencing right now, so I hope this helps!

As someone who’s experienced the life of constantly going out to eat and now “cooking in” on a daily basis, I’ll be honest, we’ve saved so much time and money and it’s just as fun. And, with creative recipes like some of these that I found on Forkful.com, you’re going to be encouraged to cook in more often. Right now, ConAgra wants to challenge young adults to have fun while saving money by “cooking in” everyday for one week this month of May during the #GreatAmericanCookIn Challenge.

ConAgra has partnered with Chicago chef and television host Catherine De Orio for this “Cook In” campaign with hopes to help develop peoples’ cooking and meal planning skills. With so many types of foods and ingredients, ConAgra want to encourage more confidence and creativity in the kitchen. Try one of the many new recipes by Chef Catherine on Forkful.com and see which one becomes you and your family’s favorite “cook in” meal.

I recently tried out this Moroccan Chicken recipe using two items from ConAgra – Hunt’s® Diced Tomatoes with Roasted Garlic and PAM® Olive Oil spray along with other ingredients, and it was amazing!

On Wednesday, May 11th, there will be a Twitter party hosted by @MommyMusings from 3-4pm EST and we want you there! By participating, 5 winners will be chosen to receive a $100 VISA Gift Card. Use the hashtag #GreatAmericanCookIn and mention ConAgra, @ConAgraFoods. Also, don’t forget to share your new recipe creations on Twitter and Instagram.

Also, for something fun, visit Nom.com for ConAgra’s LIVE Cook-A-Long on May 25!
