Am I another shade of green?
Have you ever wondered whether or not you are green, or if you are another shade of green? ? Many times when they hear this word we think that maybe we should be using products that are more eco-friendly. I remember when I was a child, we were all naturalists! Then we went a bit becoming more materialistic. Instead ofcloth diapers for babies started buying disposables; substitute home remedies, by the pharmacy.
After all, caring for the environment is something important, something essential, because the environment provides us the very air we breathe. You may feel pressured by society and feel you are not doing enough, you’re not green enough. This I’m asking because today there are a wide variety of organic cleaning products that we use at home such as Clorox Green Works well and support our ecology.

The money involved, such as solar panels and windmills would be my dream, but I don’t see myself ever having these things. So small gestures are the way to go for me, recycling everything, shutting off lights, unplugging power cords, get energy efficient appliances,etc, is about all I can do to do my part in the green innitiative.

The cost of the products is definitely an issue, and sometimes getting the people in my household to use greener products can be a hassle.
cost is the main issue, but also convenience. i have a full time job with an hour commute, I’m gone for about 11 hours a day for five days a week, so being green isn’t on my mind all that often.
The biggest reason is I don’t feel ‘green’ products work as well…ands the cost is usually more!
I think it is the cost. Plus a few years ago I tried a laundry soap and my clothes didn’t seem as clean. The whites seem alittle dull.

I don’t think going green has to cost more if you do it smartly. However, the hard part for us has been getting our community to participate – so many people don’t take the extra time to recycle even if you put out the separate bins for them.

Cost. I am the breadwinner of the family and it’s so hard to afford things as it is. When I see things I’d like to green products that I’d like to try, a lot of time, I have to ask myself if we can even afford it..
